Pushkin’s Little Tragedies
I have mentioned Alan Shaw a few times in relation to Alexander Pushkin and will do so again. His translation of The Little Tragedies is now available as an e-book. He graciously sent me a copy and I'm enjoying it a lot. Contents include "The Miserly Knight", "Mozart and Salieri", "The Stone Guest", and "Feast During the Plague". After the texts Alan includes helpful resources for anyone interested in further exploring the works. (Thanks Alan!)
Also be sure to check out Alan's blog at his Spoken and Sung site.
