I challenged myself this year to buy less than 10 books and I have a feeling this will be one in that number.

I bought a remainder copy of this in the Oxford Classics edition for 99php (about two dollars) a few months ago-I read the book 40 years ago-if you decide to read it and post I will read along with you-
Thanks mel. I read this a couple of years ago and I don't think I fully appreciated how great it is. I dip back into it every now and then, picking random passages, and enjoy it more each time.
